In keeping with industry trends, TEI is experienced and capable of offering our clients a turn-key solution via the use of the Design-Build delivery method. Design-Build is a unique and relatively new concept; however, TEI’s senior management staff understands the advantages as well as the pitfalls of this project option.
TEI works with a select group of architects/engineers with whom we have had success in the design-build approach. Collaboration between the design and construction professionals from the project onset invariably results in a significant reduction in the overall costs, versus the traditional plans and specs (design-bid-build) style of construction. TEI performs continuous ‘value engineering’ and ‘constructability reviews’ throughout the planning and design stages, to ensure the construction will be accomplished in the most efficient and effective manner.
