Center of Contemporary Arts

The buildings that make up the Center for Contemporary Arts at Shepherd University were constructed in two phases, with the first building completed in 2008 and the second in 2013. The buildings were constructed to bring all the aspiring student artists on the campus together in one location to work and study. The scope of work that was performed by TEI includes theatre lighting and sound systems, power distribution, general lighting and controls, a fire alarm system, catenary lighting that expands between the two buildings and the installation of large diameter ceiling fans. These unique and distinctive buildings inspire the Shepherd University Art students to take their art and music to the next level.
